Company Graphics
From humble beginnings as a one-room pool parlor, Artichoke Joe's has grown into a 20,000 square-foot casino. Still owned by its founding family, the casino is one of San Bruno CA's oldest businesses and largest employers. Company graphics promote game offerings while celebrating historical context.
My Role
I've worked on many projects for Artichoke Joe's. I directed company logo development, and designed a 100-year anniversary logo for ads, uniforms and memorabilia. To reinforce branding, I designed and directed a promotional video short and web games. I also designed web graphics, and programmed an admin tool for website updates.
To celebrate the company's 100-year anniversary, I designed a commorative logo for embroidered patches. I worked closely with vendors to optimize the logo's rendering on embroidery machines. The patch was sewn onto casino uniforms and little-league jerseys to deepen community ties.

In addition to designing graphics, I programmed a custom admin tool for the company website. Written in PHP and SQL, it allows casino employees to update daily jackpots, top winners, tournaments, and employment opportunities.
